LABOURED MISAPPREHENSIONS:
BEING THE THROES OF A
HIT-AND-MISS KIND
SHUBIGI RAO
A lucky selection from Laboured Misapprehensions:
Being the throes of a hit-and-miss kind
This painful writhing and drawing exercise owes its awkwardness to being of places that are non-place, where pace is growth and words fall like conversational dandruff. This is also about ugly beauty in these halfway houses. It consists of a 100 pointless drawings with forcibly drafted thoughts, rough and uneven, that longed to escape into the half-life of online scroll/click/discard/forgetful memory. Till then they sit in an old shoebox, and now here.
