The Performance chapter opens with Mickaël Robert-Gonçalves' introduction of the four commissioned performances held at Eglise Saint-Merry on 5 and 7 June. His interviews with French musicians Frédéric D. Oberland [FOUDRE!] and Pascal Battus give an insight in their sound experimentations, sided by an interview-text by Vanini Belarmino on Urich Lau's Life Circuit. Bani Haykal offers with The Public Assembly the preparatory script of his performance, while Silke Schmickl converses with Ezzam Rahman on his art practice and preparation of You are what I don't want to be. Jeremiah Choy's audio recording was part of the symposium held on 4 June at musée du Quai Branly.
