Synopsis
In the Autumn of 2015 I went to the Bekaa Valley, near the Syrian border. The war in Syrian had been raging for 4 years. Over 500 000 people had already died. 6 millions people were now refugees. At the time I had no idea that this would become part of my own inexorable struggle, as my life slipped through my fingers… Was this a story about the sacred? The sacredness of human life? Over there, the overwhelming noise of fighting, here only deafening silence. – Jocelyne Saab
