*1984. Lives and works in Hamburg, Germany.

Nhu Nguyen is a German filmmaker and photographer. After her apprenticeship as a digital media designer she studied Fine Art at Hochschule der Künste in Bremen. There, she visited the video media class of professor Jean-François Guiton.

Internal constraints induce a dynamic tension between relaxation and nervousness in a woman filmed in a confined space. The contradictory emotinal conditions of calm and agititation are reinforced by means of the images in the split-sreeen frames. Then we hear the liberating scream which brings the madness to an end.
